Kristel M Seagreaves, LCSW, Certified Nutrition Specialist
Kristel's personal journey:
As a counselor, I am motivated to assist individuals in reframing their thoughts and
"viewing your circumstances from a different perspective." I understand that there is a direct link between your brain and your gut through the vagus nerve, and they significantly influence one another. There is indeed a clear connection between the mind and the gut. My desire to learn more about nutrition stemmed from the intention to integrate my counseling expertise with my nutrition certification.
My personal health journey commenced after the birth of my two sons. I struggled to shed the "baby weight," and over time, my perception of my body deteriorated. It took years of effort to gradually alter that perception, a process I engage in daily. My transformation began when a close individual remarked, "you are perfect just the way you are." This statement profoundly impacted my thoughts and self-image. I aim to connect with anyone who feels they are navigating this "path" in solitude, as I empathize with you, and you are not alone. You can approach your health and nutrition journey from a different angle.
My philosophy is rooted in a holistic view of health, emphasizing nutrition education and a mindfulness approach. I enjoy sharing resources, literature, and quotes that resonate with individuals.
I possess a great deal of compassion and can offer emotional support and understanding; however, it is crucial to establish expectations and goals. I can provide guidance and leadership, but active participation from the client is essential.
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Additionally, I possess a Nursing Home Administrator’s license. I have mentored numerous social work students pursuing their bachelor’s or master’s degrees in social work. My objectives have always been to give back in any way possible and to learn from and mentor others.
Stacey Messing, MS in OTR/L, a B.S. in psychology and a certified nutrition coach
Stacey holds an MS in OTR/L, a B.S. in psychology, and is a certified nutrition coach. With over 20 years of experience collaborating with personal trainers, she is well-versed in leading weight training routines.
Stacey’s personal journey began in 2012 when she started working with Angie. After years of following what she believed to be the right approach without success, she became interested in the intricacies of nutrition. Her initial motivation was to maintain her own health and that of her husband by making informed choices. Through her training as a nutrition specialist, she recognized that her background as an occupational therapist, combined with her problem-solving skills, equips her to provide valuable support to individuals seeking to make lifestyle changes.
More about me:
I offer supportive, compassionate, direct, and honest guidance, often infused with humor. My education in occupational therapy, along with my knowledge of body anatomy and physiology, gives me a solid understanding of exercise and weight training. I intend to pursue a weight training certification in February.
I engage in a variety of activities; I was an enthusiastic biker for many years, participating in structured rides and completing three century rides. Additionally, I enjoy hiking, weight training, and have been practicing yoga more consistently over the past year. Meal prepping is another activity I relish, as it allows me to have healthy options readily available. I am also the proud owner of two dogs, Bentley, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Johnnie, a Scottish Terrier, who consistently bring me calm and joy.
Wendy Gaidar, Certified Health Coach, Nutrition Specialist
Wendy loves working with women in their mid-30s and older who are ready for a transformation. These are individuals who have spent a lifetime caring for others and are now prepared to prioritize themselves once more.
Wendy’s personal journey:
Having always placed everything else in life before my own needs, I realized it was time for a change! I’m a proud mom of two grown daughters and a grandmother to four wonderful grandkids, and I didn’t want to just watch from the sidelines. In January 2025, I completely shifted my mindset and made myself a priority so that I could continue to be there for my loved ones, and I’m excited to help you do the same.
My coaching expertise is deeply rooted in helping you shift your mindset through nutrition.
In my free time, I enjoy attending my grandchildren’s activities, hiking with my Great Danes, and taking quick trips with my husband, as well as meal prepping with friends. I can’t wait to connect with you and assist you in reconnecting with yourself!
